why google name google?

google is basically derived from mathematical word googol which means 1 followed by 100 zeroes which means larry page and surgy brin who are the founder of google give this name because they want show that google can search infinite type of information.now google inc. is an American multinational public corporation invested in cloud computing and internet search, and advertising technologies.Google began in January 1996 as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were both PhD students at Stanford University in California.

google chrome operating system will go on sale in June, as the world’s No. 1 Internet search engine challenges Microsoft Corp.and apple  on their home turf.but my question is that  chrome os can beat world's largest selling os ie windows and apple......

and if it is possible then what should microsoft and apple do to beat chrome os...........let us c after some years.........
